Reminder just before the trip. 1. I would like to say a big thank you to Sabrina who created a site from Weebly for us to share blog and photo during and after the trip. All of you will be contirbuting to the blog and choose / share your photo with us through this site. Please visit the site for some good tips:

3. If you are to go home by yourself on 12 December from the Hong Kong international airport, please remind parents to give me an email or an written note before we depart tomorrow. 4. Make sure you read the CAS & IDU booklet and do some pre-trip research and reflections.
5. Pack your travel documents, wallet, the trip booklet, the blue journal and pens in your day pack and bring it to the flight. You might want to make some notes at any time.
6. Wear the Rustic Pathway T-shirt to the airport.

Picture book for children of the village -You might use this to interact with the children. -Their English level will not be too high, therefore picture books of Lower Primary level will be good for them. b. CAS trip meeting with students in room 915 (from 8:25-9:10am)
Objective and agenda:
Review and confirm the program and accommodation
(Student to pair up for accommodation - home stay and ecolodge)
Go through the packing list (Be aware the dress code in the village and material for services)
Plan for the fundraising (to raise money for the Kitchen Area Project)
Full sponsor is 47000 Fijian dollars ~ 171000 HK dollars
Our target: 1/4 of the amount ~ 42750 HK dollars
If I donate 10000 HK dollars
Each student target to raise ~ 2000 HK dollars
*Please send ideas of your fund raising activities within this week to Ms Yeung and Mr Webb
We will meet next Tuesday at 1:30pm in room 915 to further our discussions and start sharing roles.

We are going to talk about the service we can provide for the villagers and what kind of fund raising activities we can do to achieve our goal.

This year we will continue to provide service to the Village we've served last year.
The programme will also be strongly linked to our curriculum and hopefully a meaningful IDU week to follow up with our learning and project.
We hope to build up a long term service project such as: build and set up a library / build more huts for students and teachers etc.
